FORMER BUHLER MAN KILLED

Buhler, Kan. — Jacob W. Thiessen, who was born near here Sept. 13, 1902, was killed while at work in the Oakland, Calif. dock area on May 4. He had left this community about 30 years ago.

The body was returned here and funeral services were arranged for May 8 at Butler's Chapel, with Rev. R. M. Baerg officiating.

Mr. Thiessen had never married. Three brothers and two sisters survive.
