ISAAC G. WALL

Isaac G. Wall, our husband and father, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerhard Wall, was born July 28, 1891, at Charleston, Nebraska and went to be with the Lord Feb. 10, 1953, at his home at 711 Howe St., Dallas, Oregon.

He lived in Nebraska in his boyhood days, and in 1907 moved with his parents to Minnesota. In 1913 he moved to Chinook, Montana. Three years later he moved back to Nebraska, where he lived until September 1952 when he moved to Dallas, Oregon.

On October 13, 1915, he was married to our mother, Elizabeth Friesen. To this union six children were born: Harry, Luella (Mrs. Oscar Ott) and Aaron of Henderson, Nebraska, Myrtle (Mrs. Robert Brimlow) of York, Nebraska, Arnold of Salem, Ore. and Alma at home.

After the death of his first wife, he married Clara Rupp of Seattle, Washington, on Jan. 25, 1952.

He was baptized upon the confession of his faith by Rev. Jacob Stoesz on May 27, 1912, in the First Mennonite church at Mountain Lake, Minn. Later he transferred his membership to the Bethesda Mennonite church at Henderson, Nebraska.

Our father was a praying father, and prayed much for his family and missionaries. He loved to read his Bible. His favorite song was, "Was kann es Schoenes geben."

He leaves to mourn his departure his wife, six children, 12 grandchildren, three daughters-in-law and two sons-in-law; two brothers, Henry Wall of Hillsboro, Kansas and Peter Wall of Mountain Lake, Minn.; one sister, Mrs. Dave Smith of Portland, Ore., and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, six sisters and two brothers.

We sorrow, but not as those without hope, because he has gone to be with the Lord whom he loved and served.—Mrs. Isaac Wall.
