| + | — Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Goessel Mennonite Church for Daniel V. Schmidt, 73, who died unexpectedly of a heart attack April 8, Rev. Leo Miller the pastor, officiated. Mr. and Mrs. Schmidt lived on a farm near Goessel until about 10 months ago, when they moved to Goessel. Surviving in addition to Mrs. Schmidt are two daughters, Mrs. Henry Wedel of the Canton community and Mrs. Leland Kirby of Colorado Springs, Colo.; four brothers and one sister; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. |
