PETER K. NICKOL

Peter K. Nickol was born in South Russia in 1898. He came to Canada in 1925, and married Annie Mierau in the Honby area in 1937. They were blessed with 4 children, 1 son and 3 daughters.

In 1946 the family moved to Longham, Sask., where Peter worked until the age of 72. Suffering from heart trouble and cancer, he passed away in the Saskatoon City Hospital on April 30, 1973.

Funeral services were held at Longham on May 3 in the Zoar Mennonite Church. Rev. Ruben Siemens officiated. Mr. Nickol was preceded' in death by his brother, Kornelius Nickol, in March, 1973. He is survived by his wife, Annie, 1 son, 3 daughters and their families.
