Fatally Hurt When Truck Hits Moose

Altona, Manitoba. — Funeral services were held at the Kronsweide Sommerfelder church near Lowe Farm on Sunday, Oct. 12, for Abe Harder, 26, who was fatally injured in an unusual accident in Ontario.

He was driving a truck near Hearst, Ont. when he crashed into a moose on the highway. He died five hours later in the Hearst hospital.

Harder was the youngest son of Mrs. Peter P. Harder and the late Mr. Harder and a life-long resident of the Lowe Farm district. Besides his mother he leaves six sisters and eight brothers.
