FORMER LIVESTOCK DEALER, SCHOOL DIRECTOR DIES AT AGE 90

Belleville, Pa. — Funeral services were held Aug. 21 at the Mattawna [sic Mattawana] Mennonite Church for Francis B. Harshbarger, 90, well-known Mifflin County resident. He died at his home Aug.18.

A retired farmer and livestock dealer, Mr. Harshbarger at one time shipped cattle to Lancaster and Philadelphia by the carload. He also served as a township supervisor, school director, and as a director of the Ferguson Valley Fire Insurance Co.
