FATHER OF MISSIONARY DIES OF HEART ATTACK AT FARM NEAR BERNE
Berne, Ind. — Amos A. Liechty, 65, well-known farmer and trucker here, died unexpectedly at the farm home near Berne on Aug. 28 after suffering a heart attack. He had not been ill.
Among the surviving children is a daughter, Miss Irena Liechty, missionary to the Belgian Congo.
Funeral services were conducted at the First Mennonite Church.
