KENNETH MERLE DUERKSEN

Kenneth Merle Duerksen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Milton H. Duerksen, was born Jan. 5, 1953, and passed away Jan. 6, 1953, at the age of one and a half days.

With great joy we looked forward to fondle our little child and do all we could to train him in a Christian home; but the Lord took him and transplanted him into His garden. He is safe in His arms in the glory land above.

In addition to his parents, the baby is survived by the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. David F. Voth of rural Newton, and Mr. and Mrs. Dan Duerksen of rural Canton.

Brief funeral services were held at the Bethesda hospital and also at the Alexanderwohl church cemetery, on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 1953.
