&#8212; Funeral services were held at the Alexanderwohl church Sunday afternoon for Victor Schroeder, 59, who died May 22 at the Bethesda Hospital in Goessel. The services were in charge of Rev. P. A. Wedel. Mr. Schroeder was a lifelong resident of the Goessel and Canton communities. He leaves his wife Alma; three daughters, Mrs. Eddie Schmidt of Newton, Mrs. Herb Ediger of Goba, Ethiopia, and Mrs. Wilbert Schmidt of Goessel; four sons, Goldwyn of Sacramento, Calif., Jimmy, Johnny and Ira Don of the home; his mother, Mrs. P. H. Schroeder of Goessel, two brothers and one sister, and nine grandchildren.
