Broken Hip Fatal To Retired Farmer
Goshen, Ind. — Word was received here that Sam P. Schwartz,78, retired farmer and carpenter, died April 11 at his home in Centreville, Mich. He was a member of the Amish church, and funeral services were held at the residence on April 13.
A native of the Berne, Ind. community, Mr. Schwartz had been in failing health since suffering a broken hip in a fall some time ago.
He is survived by his wife, Effie Mae, eight sons and four daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
