Aged Resident Dies At Pretty Prairie

Pretty Prairie, Kan. — Peter J. Krehbiel, a resident of this community for 75 years, died at his home in Pretty Prairie on March 7, reaching the age of 83. He had been ill for two years.

He was a member of the First Mennonite Church near here, where the funeral services were conducted on Sunday afternoon. Dr. H. G. Nyce, Rev. P. P. Tschetter and Rev. Wm. Gering officiated.

Mr. Krehbiel was a native of South Dakota. He leaves his wife, Rosa; seven sons, two daughters, 29 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
