Aged West Liberty Resident Dies

West Liberty, Ohio. — Funeral services for J. B. Emanuel Kauffman, 86, a long-time resident here, were held Feb. 1 at the Bethel Mennonite Church, Edward Stoltzfus, the pastor, officiated.

A native of Mifflin County, Pa., Mr. Kauffman was married near here to Viola Bontrager. They would have reached their 58th wedding anniversary on Feb. 18. For many years he was an employee of the New York Central Railroad.

Surviving in addition to his wife are four daughters, three sons, 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
