Arthur, Ill. — Sam N. Beachy, 78, highly respected and beloved bishop in the Amish church here, died in his sleep early Saturday morning, Jan. 10.
Funeral services were conducted at the residence on Jan. 14 and were widely attended. Visiting ministers from several states assisted in the services.
