Dies While Driving Truck Near Freeman
Freeman, S. D. — While driving his fuel oil truck north of Freeman on Dec. 12, Johnny Stahl suffered a fatal heart attack and the truck went into the ditch. The body was found by John E. Kleinsasser.
Funeral services were held in Pioneer Hall at Freeman College, with Rev. P. J. Stahl officiating.
Mr. Stahl, who was 47, had recently been hospitalized with a heart ailment. He was well known here and served on the Freeman City Council. Surviving are his wife, Adina, and a number of relatives.
