SISTER ELIZABETH KENNY TAKEN IN DEATH
The 66 year old Sister Elizabeth Kenny, originator of the famous Kenny treatment for polio, died Sunday, Nov. 30, at her home in Toowoomba, Australia.
Sister Kenny had suffered from a stroke and later pneumonia set in. A last minute attempt to save her life with a new drug, Trypsin, which had been flown to Australia all the way from New York, proved of no avail.
