— Mrs. Myrtle A. Doell, 72, of North Newton died Monday evening at the Bethel Deaconess Hospital where she had been a patient since Oct. 9 due to a fractured hip and other complications. Rev. Russell Mast and Dr. J. H. Langenwalter officiated at the funeral services, held Wednesday forenoon at the Bethel College Church. Mrs. Doell, the former Myrtle Watkins of Valley Center, was the widow of Dr. Jacob H. Doell, for many years professor of biology at Bethel College. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Thomas F. Walker of Newton; one son, Home Doell of Norfolk, Va.; and one grandson.
