Orrville, Ohio. — Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Geiger, 79, were held at the Kidron Mennonite church Sept. 16. A lifelong resident of the Kidron community, she died at Dunlap Memorial hospital here Sept. 13 after a short illness. | |||
She leaves four daughters, one son, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren, as well as one sister. Mrs. Louis Burkhalter of Apple Creek, and two brothers, Noah Lehman of Orrville and John Lehman of Ridgefield, Wash. | |||

Mrs. Elizabeth Lehman Geiger was born Sept. 18, 1872. She accepted Christ as her Savior and was baptized and received into the Mennonite church on April 4, 1890. On Nov. 10, 1898, she was married to John Geiger, with whom she shared joys and sorrows for many years. She had been in failing health for several years, and last Friday was taken to the Dunlap Memorial hospital, Orrville, and passed away the following morning, Sept. 13. Her age was six days less than 80 years. | |||
Funeral services were held or Sept. 16 at the Kidron church, where she was a faithful member and regular attendant as long as health permitted. The ministers Reuben Hofstetter, Allen Bixler and Isaac Zuercher officiated. | |||
Her husband preceded her in death four years ago. Three sons also preceded her. Surviving are one son, Adam, of near Kidron, four daughters, Mrs. Lester (Bertha) Schuller of Orrville, Mrs. Clyde (Emma) Bixler of Wooster, Rosina of Massilon [''sic'' Massillon], and Lydia of the home; one sister, Mrs. Louis (Anna) Burkholder; two brothers, Noah of Orrville and John of Richfield [''sic'' Ridgefield], Wash.; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. — Correspondent. | |||
