The little girl was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul N. Kandel of Route 2, Dalton, and was in the sixth grade at the Sonnenberg Mennonite School. Other survivors include one brother, three sisters and the grandparents, Joseph L. Masts and William J. Kandels.

Funeral services were held at the Pleasant View Conservative Church near Berlin.

Death Result Of Flu, Pnemonia [sic]

Orrville, Ohio. — The influenza outbreak here resulted indirectly in the death of Susan Kay Kandel, 11, who passed away shortly after admittance to the Community Osteopathic Hospital. The attending physician said death was due to pnuemonia [sic] following an attack of the flu.

The little girl was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul N. Kandel of Route 2, Dalton, and was in the sixth grade at the Sonnenberg Mennonite School. Other survivors include one brother, three sisters and the grandparents, Joseph L. Masts and William J. Kandels.

Funeral services were held at the Pleasant View Conservative Church near Berlin.
