Death Follows Hip Fracture
Berne, Ind. — Funeral services were held at the Evangelical Mennonite Church near here for Mrs. Lydia Roth, 86, whose death on July 14 was due to cancer and a fractured hip suffered in a fall about six weeks earlier. She had been living with a son, Raymond Roth, near Bryant.
Mrs. Roth, a native of this community, was the widow of Christian H. Roth who died in 1939. They farmed here for many years. She leaves two sons, Raymond and Clarence, and a granddaughter Mrs. Truman Gottschalk, missionary in Ecuador.
