<center><h3>AMISH MOTHER KILLED, DAUGHTER INJURED IN CRASH AT KALONA, IA.</h3></center>
Kalona, Iowa. &#8212; Funeral services were held in the Jonas D. Miller home here June 14 for Mrs. Lizzie Hochstetler, 50, who was instantly killed June 11 when a car struck her buggy four miles north of Kalona.  The services were widely attended, relatives and friends coming from several states.
Critically injured in the crash was the Hochstetler's 16-year-old daughter Martha, who suffered fractures of the skull, collarbone and pelvis.
Among the survivors is the husband and father, Wm. G. Hochtetler.
