Photographer Dies At Berne, Ind.

Berne, Ind. — Funeral services were held at the First Mennonite Church June 19 for Jacob Gerber, 76, who was a photographer here for 44 years. Rev. Olin A. Krehbiel, the pastor, officiated.

Born at Tramlen, Switzerland, he came to the Berne community as a young man and had lived here for about 50 years. He operated the Berne Studio in the business district for a number of years, later moving the business to his home where he continued active until his retirement due to ill health.
