Smoketown, Pa. — Lester Martin, 11-year-old son of Daniel and Esther (Kurtz) Martin of the Lebanon community, was crushed to death under a tractor recently at his home. | |||
Lester and his nine-yer-old brother Ivan were hauling garbage on the rear of the tractor when it hit a stump in tall honeysuckle and overturned. Ivan leaped to safety but his brother was caught under the machine. | |||
Funeral services were held at the Springville Mennonite Church near Ephrata. | |||

Smoketown, Pa. — Lester Martin, 11-year-old son of Daniel and Esther (Kurtz) Martin of the Lebanon community, was crushed to death under a tractor recently at his home.
