DEATH CLAIMS WELL KNOWN KALONA, IOWA RETIRED FARMER

Wellman, Iowa. — Funeral services for Emanuel B. Hochstetler, 74, life long resident of the Kalona community, were held at the East Union church July 21. He was a member of the Conservative Amish Mennonite church.

After farming north of Kalona for a number of years, he moved to Kalona and operated a feed store there, retiring several years ago because of ill health.

Surviving are the widow and seven daughters.
