Aged Marion, S. D. Resident Dies
Marion, S. D. — Funeral services were conducted at the Bethel Mennonite Church here March 14 for Zacharias S. Ewert, 86, who died unexpectedly March 10 at Omaha, Neb. He was a long-time resident here and for many years an active worker in the Bethel congregation.
Mr. Ewert, who had been staying with his son, Rev. August Ewert, in Omaha, came here with his son to attend the funeral of his granddaughter, Mrs. Peter Engbrecht. He died suddenly upon arrival back in Omaha, while still in the car.
