Nappanee, Ind. — Funeral services were held in the Amish settlement here for Elmer J. Yoder, 21, who died at the Elkhart hospital March 3 of complications which developed after having the mumps.
The young man had been married Dec. 13, 1956, to Mary Helmuth, who survives with his parents, Jonas D. Yoders of Milford, two brothers and seven sisters. The couple had been living on the farm of her parents, Levi H. Helmuths, while they were in Arizona.
