Moundridge, Kan. &#8212; Funeral services for John E. Stucky, 76, long time farmer and miller of the Alta Mill community, were held Dec. 30 at the First Mennonite church of Christian here. Death came Dec. 27 at the home in Moundridge.

A life-long resident of this community, Mr. Stucky operated the old Alta Flour Mill for about 47 years, retiring in 1948. He had been ill for six years, and two years ago moved to Moundridge.

Surviving are his wife, Katie, three daughters and one son, 17 grandchildren, one brother, J. B. Stucky of Moundridge, and one sister, Mrs. Ed Schrag of St. Joseph, Mich.

LONG-TIME OPERATOR OF OLD ALTA MILL CALLED BY DEATH

Moundridge, Kan. — Funeral services for John E. Stucky, 76, long time farmer and miller of the Alta Mill community, were held Dec. 30 at the First Mennonite church of Christian here. Death came Dec. 27 at the home in Moundridge.

A life-long resident of this community, Mr. Stucky operated the old Alta Flour Mill for about 47 years, retiring in 1948. He had been ill for six years, and two years ago moved to Moundridge.

Surviving are his wife, Katie, three daughters and one son, 17 grandchildren, one brother, J. B. Stucky of Moundridge, and one sister, Mrs. Ed Schrag of St. Joseph, Mich.
