HENRY JACOB REMPEL

Henry Rempel was born in Russia in 1886 and immigrated to Borden, Sask., in 1903. He moved to the Chill District in 1943 where he farmed until his retirement in 1955. He resided with his daughter, Selma, for the past 18 years.

Henry died on May 22, 1973 in the Chilliwack General Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Lena, 3 sons, 2 daughters, their families, 1 brother, 2 sisters, 1 step-brother, and 1 step-sister. Funeral services were held in the Greendale MB Church with Rev. Harry Heidebrecht officiating.
