UNUSUAL FARM MISHAP CLAIMS LIFE OF FIVE-YEAR-OLD GIRL

Lancaster, Pa. — Lydia Petersheim, five-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Petersheim of the Narvon community, was killed Oct. 31 when caught between a hundred-pound door and the side of the horse stable on her father's farm.

The child was standing in a passageway of the stable when a mule bumped the heavy door, causing it to roll shut and crushing her head against the barn wall.
