Wife of Church Leader Died

Hillsboro, Kan. — Friends of the Andreas Balzers will be sorry to learn of the death of his mother in Fernheim, Paraguay, on Oct. 26. Balzers attended Tabor College and Goshen College and returned to Filadelfia earlier this year where he now teaches in the Zentralschule (high school).

Mrs. Balzer had been ailing in health for several years and had submitted to surgery about two-and-a-half months ago. Her companion, Rev. Gerhard Balzer, is leading minister of the Fernheim Mennonite Brethren Church and chairman of the South America Mennonite Brethren Conference.
