AGED BISHOP OF OLD ORDER AMISH CHURCH DIED IN INDIANA
Goshen, Ind. — Alvin M. Beachy, 80-year-old bishop of an Amish church district at Topeka, died at a convalescent home near here Oct. 21. Funeral services were held Oct. 24 at an Amish home near Topeka.
Bishop Beachy's wife died on Aug. 11 of this year. He leaves four daughters and two sons and their families and a brother, Lewis of Oakland, Md.
