&#8212; Funeral services for Mrs. Helena Heidebrecht, 86, pioneer settler in McPherson county who died Oct. 2 at the Bethesda Home in Goessel, were held Thursday, Oct. 4. Rev. Curt Boese conducted services at the Home, which were followed by services at the Hillsboro M.B. church in charge of Rev. Waldo Hiebert. Burial was made to the Buhler Cemetery. Mrs. Heidebrecht, the former Helena Boese, was born in South Russia and came to the United States with her parents in 1876. Her large family of descendants includes seven children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
