Well-Known Manitoba Teacher-Pastor Dies</center>

Altona, Man. Funeral services for Rev. Paul J. Schaefer, 70, were held June 11 in the auditorium of Mennonite Collegiate Institute at Gretna. Rev. Schaefer, long-time minister and educator, died of a stroke at his home in Gretna on June 4.

He was an elder of the Blumenorter Mennonite Church. At the Institute he served as teacher for 25 years and was principal from 1948 to 1967. One of the subjects he taught was Mennonite History.

Surviving him are his wife Louise, daughters Lily, Irma and Ingrid, and sons Ted and Wilfred.
