Lancaster, Pa. — Wilmer, 11 year old son of Rev. and Mrs. Henry W. Martin of Route 1, Ephrata, suffered fatal head injuries in an accident at the Martin poultry farm May 1 and passed away the following morning. The youth, riding on an open elevator in the chicken house with an older brother, Carl, 16, reached out to a pet dog and his head was caught between the elevator and the floor. | |||
The parents, four brothers and four sisters survive. | |||
Funeral services were held May 5 at the Springville Mennonite church. | |||
