The funeral services, held at the John E. Otto home, were conducted by Abe C. Gingerich, S. N. Beachy and D. A. Troyer, and were widely attended. The surviving widow, who has been ill with a heart ailment, was able to attend the services on a stretcher.

ILLINOIS FARMER DIED SUDDENLY

Arthur, Ill. — Solomon D. Beachy, well-known farmer of the Amish community here, died Feb. 10 after being suddenly stricken the day before, on his 58th birthday.

The funeral services, held at the John E. Otto home, were conducted by Abe C. Gingerich, S. N. Beachy and D. A. Troyer, and were widely attended. The surviving widow, who has been ill with a heart ailment, was able to attend the services on a stretcher.
