GAS EXLOSION [sic] KILLS WORKER AT CALIFORNIA CRACKING PLANT
Corn, Okla. — Relatives here received word that Herbert Engle,49, former resident of Corn, was instantly killed by an explosion in a petroleum cracking plant in California. He was a resident of Shafter, Calif., and funeral services were held at the Shafter M. B. Church.
Surviving are his wife, four children and two grandchildren.
