JOHN EDWARD PETERS

John Edward Peters was born to Frank J. and Nettie Peters on March 20, 1949, in Swift Current, Sask. In Swift Current he attended Ashley Park School and O.M. Irwin Collegiate. John was a happy child and brought much joy to his family and friends.

In his youth he made a personal commitment to Jesus Christ, was baptized and became a member of the Swift Current Church. Later in his life, however, his interest in spiritual matters diminished and he underwent severe inner conflict.

He passed away at his residence on August 19 at the age of 22.

He is mourned by his loving parents; three sisters, Adina of Saskatoon, Mrs. Arnold (Lory) Dyck of Regina and Marlene at home; five brothers, Frank of Winnipeg, Jim of Edmonton, George of Ottawa, Chris of Calgary and Donald at home; and many other relatives and friends.

The family wish to express their sincere thanks to many friends and fellow Christians for their prayers, and acts of kindness at this time of loss and sorrow.
