Bluffton, Ohio, Oct. 10. &#8212; A serious tragedy came to the Bluffton-Pandora are Saturday afternoon when three persons were killed and another seriously injured in a truck-automobile crash at the Allen and Hancock county line road crossing of the Dixie highway bypass.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Tschiegg and son Larry, 11, and Mr. and Mrs. Willis Weaver were traveling from Wayne Co. to visit friends and relatives in this area. While crossing the highway about a mile south of Bluffton they were struck by a heavy truck which killed Mr. Tschiegg and Mr. Weaver, the driver, instantly. Mrs. Tschiegg died in the Bluffton Community hospital about three hours later.

Mrs. Weaver is confined to the hospital with a broken leg and possible back injuries. Larry, the 11-year-old son of the Tschieggs, was treated for shock and bruises and was released. There are four other children in the family living at Wooster, O.

Mrs. Weaver is a sister of Mr. Tschiegg and they have two brothers, Amos, and Eldon, and five sisters in this area. The sisters are: Mrs. Aaron Messinger, Mrs. Eli Garmatter, Mrs. Otto Badertscher, Mrs. Robert Amstutz and Mrs. Ira Wilkins.

Highway Tragedy At Bluffton, Ohio

THREE PERSONS KILLED IN TRUCK AND AUTOMOBILE COLLISION

Bluffton, Ohio, Oct. 10. — A serious tragedy came to the Bluffton-Pandora are Saturday afternoon when three persons were killed and another seriously injured in a truck-automobile crash at the Allen and Hancock county line road crossing of the Dixie highway bypass.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Tschiegg and son Larry, 11, and Mr. and Mrs. Willis Weaver were traveling from Wayne Co. to visit friends and relatives in this area.
