HOUSE BURNS TO THE GROUND, TRAPPING CRIPPLED OCCUPANT

Blountstown, Fla. — Funeral services for Ben Bailey, who died in the flames which destroyed his house, were held at the Magnolia Baptist Church here Oct. 4, Rev. Raymond Byler officiating. He was a member of the Bethel Conservative Mennonite Church.

Mr. Bailey, a cripple, was unable to escape when flames enveloped the small frame house where he lived alone.
