CORNELIUS DAVID WARKENTIN

Cornelius Warkentin, R.R.4, St. Catharines, Ont., passed away on February 22 at the age of 64, after a lengthy illness. Funeral services were held in the Virgil MB Church . He was born in Carpenter, South Dakota, in 1907 and at 11 years moved with his family to Saskatchewan. Six years later he committed his life to Christ and was baptised into the fellowship of the Mennonite Brethren Church. On June 28, 1931 he was united in marriage to Annie Wiebe, and the Lord blessed them with five children. They moved to Virgil in 1938.
