— Mrs. Lena Nikkel, one of the pioneer immigrants rom Russia and a long-time resident of the Corn, Okla. community, died at her home in Weatherford, Okla. on June 22. She was 81. Funeral services were held at the Corn M. B. church. Mrs. Nikkel was born in South Russia in 1873 and came to Reno county, Kan. in 1885. Her husband, Jacob Nikkel, died in 1946. | |||
