Mrs. Mary Herschberger, 90-year-old pioneer resident of Harper, Kans., died in a Wichita hospital Monday afternoon, March 28, after an illness of several years.
 
Born Oct. 21, 1864, in Indiana, Mrs. Herschberger moved to Harper with her parents when she was a child.
 
She was married to Moses Herschberger Nov. 12, 1883.  Mr. Herschberger, a grain elevator operator, died Nov. 19, 1947.
 
Mrs. Herschberger was a member of Harper Methodist church.
 
Survivors include one son, Carl, Oklahoma City, Okla.; three daughters, Mrs. Mabel Eccles of Wichita, Mrs. Grace Beyler of Harper, and Mrs. Alta Marten of Wichita; a brother, Chris Bontrager, Goshen, Ind.; a sister, Mrs. J. S. Yoder, Topeka, Ind.; 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
 
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, at the Harper, Kans., Methodist church.  Burial was made in Harper cemetery.

MRS. MARY HERSCHBERGER
