Lifelong Resident Died at Age 88
Sugarcreek, Ohio. — Funeral services for Emmanuel A. Hershberger, 88, took place Sunday, Jan. 6, at the Walnut Creek Mennonite church, where he had been a member most of his life. A life-long resident of the Walnut Creek vicinity, he died at his home there on Jan. 3.
The surviving children are Rev. Venus Hershberger of Walnut Creek, Homer of Sugarcreek; a foster son, Lawrence Hershberger of Millersburg; Mrs. Ada Zurcher [sic Zuercher] of near Walnut Creek and Alma of the home.
