Hillsboro, Kans. — Bernard P. Harder, 79, retired farmer and carpenter, died at the Salem hospital here on Christmas night after an illness of one week. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Goertz funeral home and the Ebenfeld M. B. church.

Mr. Harder and his wife, who survives him, moved to the Ebenfeld community in 1925 and has lived in Hillsboro for the past five years. He is also survived by two daughters and three sons, Mrs. John Eitzen, Mrs. Dan Suderman, and Menno Harder of Hillsboro, Herbert and Edwin Harder of Peabody.

Retired Farmer Called by Death

Hillsboro, Kans. — Bernard P. Harder, 79, retired farmer and carpenter, died at the Salem hospital here on Christmas night after an illness of one week. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Goertz funeral home and the Ebenfeld M. B. church.

Mr. Harder and his wife, who survives him, moved to the Ebenfeld community in 1925 and has lived in Hillsboro for the past five years. He is also survived by two daughters and three sons, Mrs. John Eitzen, Mrs. Dan Suderman, and Menno Harder of Hillsboro, Herbert and Edwin Harder of Peabody.
