BRIAN CYRIL REMPEL

Brian Cyril Rempel, 25 passed away suddenly on April 8, as the result of a truck-train collision at a railway crossing at Demmit, Alberta.

Brian was born at Saskatoon to Ernest and Minnie Rempel of Borden, Sask. on January 15, 1945. His parents moved to Rosedale, B.C. in 1946 and, then in 1949 to Virgil , Ont. A year later they moved again to Prince George, B.C. where Brian began his school. He accepted Christ as his personal Saviour when he was six years old. At the age of 16 he was baptized upon his confession of faith and accepted into the fellowship of the South Fort George Baptist Church of South Fort George, B.C. In September, 1961 the family moved to Sexsmith, Alta where Brian joined and attended the LaGlace Mennonite Brethren Church.,

Brian is survived by his parents, Ernest and Minnie Rempel; brother Bruce of Sexsmith; a sister, Mrs. Rolyn (June) Klaassen, of Denver, Colorado; a grandmother, Mrs. Agatha Wiebe, of Virgil, Ont.; and many relatives and friends.
