ALVIN, KANSAS. . . My father-in-law Benjamin Jantz, died at his home, northwest of Durham, Marion Co., Kansas, on March 18, 1904, at the age of 70 years, 6 months and 13 days. He has been blind for over 6 years, during which time he was converted and he died believing on his savior. Funeral services were held March 22, P. A. Unruh of Galva, Kans., officiating. Text 2. Cor. 5, the first part. He was the father of 19 children, 10 of which survive him and mourn his death. — H. H. SCHMIDT.
