Freeman, S. D. &#8212; Word was received here that the body of Jerry Lee Tschetter, 7, was recovered from Ravine Lake near Huron on Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 7, after two days of searching.

On Sunday afternoon the boy had gone boating on the lake, only one block from home, with two brothers, 10 and 12 years of age. There was a strong wind and high waves, and it is believed Jerry Lee was either thrown from the tossing boat or became frightened and jumped in.

The parents are Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Tschetter.

BOATING TRAGEDY IN SOUTH DAKOTA

Freeman, S. D. — Word was received here that the body of Jerry Lee Tschetter, 7, was recovered from Ravine Lake near Huron on Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 7, after two days of searching.

On Sunday afternoon the boy had gone boating on the lake, only one block from home, with two brothers, 10 and 12 years of age. There was a strong wind and high waves, and it is believed Jerry Lee was either thrown from the tossing boat or became frightened and jumped in.

The parents are Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Tschetter.
