LANCASTER COUNTY YOUTH FATALLY HURT IN RUNAWAY

Bareville, Pa. — Giedon [sic Gideon] Z. Zook, 17 year old son of Pre. Jacob K. and Annie D. Zook, died at the Coatsville hospital June 3, the day after he suffered critical injuries in a runaway on his parents’ farm.

Funeral services took place at the Zook home on June 6.

The youth was hauling manure when the horses became frightened and ran away, throwing him under a wheel of the spreader. Besides the parents, he leaves five brothers and two sisters.
