Stuarts Drafts, Va. &#8212; Funeral services were held here Saturday, Feb. 3, for Abner B. Troyer, 22, a well known young man of this community, who was instantly killed earlier in the week in an unusual highway accident.

The youth had been riding in a buggy on the highway when an automobile crashed into it demolishing the vehicle and fatally injuring him.

&#8212; A large crowd from the Mennonite constituency at Stuarts Draft, Va., attended the funeral held there early this month for Abner B. Troyer, an Amish youth, who was instantly killed when a car hit and demolished the buggy in which he was riding. The accident happened soon after nightfall, while the young man was on his way home after having made arrangements to take his physical examination for Selective Service. He was the only son in the family. Besides his parents, three sisters survive.

BUGGY STRUCK BY AUTOMOBILE; YOUNG MAN DRIVING INSTANTLY KILLED

Stuarts Drafts, Va. — Funeral services were held here Saturday, Feb. 3, for Abner B. Troyer, 22, a well known young man of this community, who was instantly killed earlier in the week in an unusual highway accident.

The youth had been riding in a buggy on the highway when an automobile crashed into it demolishing the vehicle and fatally injuring him.

— A large crowd from the Mennonite constituency at Stuarts Draft, Va., attended the funeral held there early this month for Abner B. Troyer, an Amish youth, who was instantly killed when a car hit and demolished the buggy in which he was riding. The accident happened soon after nightfall, while the young man was on his way home after having made arrangements to take his physical examination for Selective Service. He was the only son in the family. Besides his parents, three sisters survive.
