ELMER DAVID FAUSER

Elmer Fauser was born on August 31, 1929 at Maxstone, Saskatchewan.

At the age of four he came to Woodrow with his parents and subsequently spent most of his life there. It was there he received his education. It was there also that he met and was married to his wife, Ruth, taking on the full responsibility for her two children who had been left fatherless with the passing of his brother. The union was blessed with four additional children. Elmer took an active interest in community affairs, working and serving in various capacities.

Although there were no obvious indications that the end was near, he kept his business up to date and in retrospect it seems there were manifestations that all was not well. On Saturday he went about his duties when quite suddenly he felt ill. He was taken to hospital, but passed away shortly thereafter. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife, Ruth; his children, Don, Bob, Shelley, Cindy, Cheryl, and Gary; his mother, Mrs. Barbara Fauser, Medicine Hat; six sisters and one brother. He was predeceased by his brother, Ted, in 1955, and His memory will be treasured by the family who will remember him as a faithful and loving husband and father.
