DAVID D. NACHTIGAL

David D. Nachtigal of Tofield, Alta., passed away on August 30 at the Tofield Municipal Hospital. He was 74 years old. Mr. Nachtigal was born in Russia on December 18, 1894. He accepted the Lord as his Saviour in his youth and on October 18, 1918, he was united in marriage to Anna Gerbrandt, who survives him. In 1925 the Lord miraculously led them to Canada.

Seven children were born to the family, three of whom survive their father: Henry Nachtigal of Tofield, (Mrs.) Mary Schierling of Calgary, and (Mrs.) Annie Warkentin of Crooked Creek, Alta.

The funeral was held in the Tofield Mennonite Brethren Church on September 3 with Rev. George Quiring officiating.
